  Rode in during Bikeweek. The places on the river in Astor were closed or out of business. There was quite a few bikes in the lot, so hey, why not. My guest and I got seated right away, and there were not too many open spots. We sat outside by choice. The waitress and hostess gals were super friendly, didn't mind chatting a bit, made us feel welcome. The DJ was playing tunes suitable for the biker crowd. Nobody said jack about our colors. The bourbon and vodka drinks came fast and weren't wimpy. After two drinks, we ordered some burgers, and they were as expected. I like mine medium well, and it was. The wait for the food was... a bit longer than we would have wanted, but it was no real big deal. A few more drinks, and the bill didn't break the bank. Y'all get a 4 instead of 5 on account of being a bit slow on the food, but that sort of thing happens. I get to that area three times a year, and plan on gettin' back to this little roadhouse.

  VERY POOR wait service, lousy food ~~~ wont be back. First sign that something was not right was the empty parking lot on a Saturday night @ 6pm & not another soul in the restaurant (maybe 2-3 guys in the bar outside). Had to get the rest of the menus for our party, had to remind the waitress two of us didn't get drinks, had to get silverware for two of us, food took 45 minutes to arrive then was subpar. Our $4 tip reflects the quality of service & food.
